Fancy giving cricket a go this summer with friends? ECB are launching 180 Soft Ball Cricket Festivals across the country for women of all abilities to mark this summer’s ICC Women’s World Cup.
What is it?
No pain, all gain! Soft Ball Cricket is a new, fun, fast, social game for all abilities, featuring a soft ball.
Where is it?
The Women’s Soft Ball Cricket Festivals located in Kent will be held in 7 locations. Hayes, Farningham, Tunbridge Wells, Mersham, Lordswood, Canterbury and Folkestone Cricket Clubs. Click booking link below for further details.
When is it?
The first Women’s Soft Ball Cricket Festival in Kent takes place mid-June and they continue on different dates throughout the World Cup period.
Who are the festivals for?
The Women’s Soft Ball Cricket Festivals are for everyone but specifically aimed at women who are returning to or have not played the game of cricket before. You can sign up individually or as a team (please note any U18’s will need to be in a team with another responsible adult). So spread the word to your best friend, sister, mum, daughter, aunty or even grandma to ‘expect something different’ from Cricket this summer.
What do you need to bring?
Nothing – all equipment is provided, including a free t-shirt. There will be car parking, toilets, changing rooms, music and food available and no dress code as long as you can move about comfortably!
